We offer our guests a variety of walking/hiking trails that you can enjoy at your own leisure. Our trails can also be enjoyed by those who want to bring your horse and trail ride. The Haven is the start of the Devil's Canyon located in Caddo County and is recognized on the Nation Park Services website as a National Natural Landmark. Per
We offer our guests a variety of walking/hiking trails that you can enjoy at your own leisure. Our trails can also be enjoyed by those who want to bring your horse and trail ride. The Haven is the start of the Devil's Canyon located in Caddo County and is recognized on the Nation Park Services website as a National Natural Landmark. Per the website "Devil’s Canyon is a deeply eroded box canyon supporting many disjunct mesic plant species whose natural ranges reach their western extremity about 200 miles east of this area. The close proximity of the mesic flora of the canyon bottom and the two more western plant communities of the canyon rim, is unusual. Nowhere else in Oklahoma is there such a quick transition from eastern deciduous forest type vegetation to an oak woodland-tall grass prairie." Along with the canyon the Haven offers sandrock gullies and small waterways to explore, along with cedar and oak tree forest areas and open grasslands.
If renting a Cabin, you are free to wonder the Haven at your heart's desire. For those wanting to utilize the Haven for either hiking, cross-country biking or horseback riding, we do charge a $5 per person daily fee for 10 years and older. Fees can be paid at

The Haven offers eight horse pens for daily rentals for those wanting to bring your horses out for trail riding. Pen rental is free with Cabin rental. Please contact Lisa Belter for more information regarding trail riding or pen availability at 405-542-7268.
